What TEACHERS are saying …

Thank you again so very much for the grant for a magnetic whiteboard for my classroom. It arrived last Friday afternoon and we put it together today. I am very excited to use it with my students next week!
— 2nd Grade Teacher
The generosity of Admire Teachers and the ease of the process makes this support even more amazing! Admire Teachers provided multiple classrooms with books related to topics the students are studying. We couldn’t have done this without Admire Teachers! Thank you!!
— K-5 Teacher
Thank you Admire Teachers for this opportunity! My students got to access materials and learning that they wouldn’t have been able to otherwise, and they absolutely loved this project! Thank you!
— K-5 Teacher
Thank you for this opportunity to give back to our students without teachers having to dip back into their pockets. So incredibly grateful and our students had a blast at the zoo!!
— 5th Grade Teacher
Across all grades, kids said that Suminagashi was their favorite project of the year! It was such a joy to see the amazement on their faces when they pulled their prints! Students of all ages absolutely loved this project and it created so much extra joy and magic for us at the end of this wild school year. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
— K-5 Art Teacher
Thank you so much for providing me and my fellow educators with the opportunity to expand our toolbox! Too often educators use their own money or rely on outdated tools and resources. Thank you so much for helping me update my books and counseling games for my students!
— K-5 Social Worker
Kids were thrilled with the flexible seating, even enjoyed getting to use the boxes to be creative! Thank you for helping make my classroom be a safe place for everyone to learn.
— 3-4 Teacher

Schools are underfunded and teachers are over worked and underpaid. Frequently, teachers are forced to raise funds through parents or outside organizations. Studies reveal that the vast majority of teachers spend hundreds of dollars of their own money on their classrooms every year. When students have access to materials, supplies and experiences deemed important by their teachers, there is more opportunity to engage and learn in school.

THE NEED.

OUR VISION.

We want to be part of the solution and make it easy for teachers to acquire the things they need to do their jobs more effectively. To help make that a reality, we have created a quick and easy process for K-5 Title 1 teachers in the Portland, OR to get the support they need. It could be as little as $50 books, $150 for headphones or $350 for flexible seating and so many other things too. The request can be completed in as little as 15 minutes and turned around in just a few weeks.
